OUR MISSION

Our mission is to help children develop self-help skills, self-confidence and positive self-esteem, using an academically challenging curriculum that includes religious precepts. The learning environment is safe and healthy. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate. The staff is a well-qualified and trained staff providing a supervised learning environment.

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

Attention parents, if your scholar is displaying any form of the following illnesses: 

  • coughing (excessively)

  • runny nose (yellow/green mucus)

  • fever

  • fatigue

  • diarrhea

  • chills

  • loss of smell or taste

  • headache

Please keep them at home for the safety of the other students. If we have to call you, your child will not be able to return without a doctors excuse.

DROP-OFF / PICK-UP POLICY

  • All children must be at school no later than 9:00 a.m., unless absence is excused.

  • Children must be picked up by 6:00 p.m.

    • If picked up later than 6:00 p.m. a late fee of $1 per minute per child will incur.

    • Fee is to be paid before child(ren) can return to center.

UNIFORM POLICY

At Kids Time students who are enrolled in the Preschool and Pre-K age programs are required to wear uniform. Uniform consists of a red polo shirt and and any khaki bottoms.

Toddler Teacher/Assistant

The primary objective for a toddler teacher is to assist the parents in potty training the child as well as help the child to acquire table manners.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Qualifications: 

  • CDA Preferred

  • 12 units in early Childhood Education or Child Development with six months teaching experience.

  • Ability to follow directions

Preschool Teacher/Assistant

Provide circumstances that support the development of each individual child. Ensure each child is nurtured and developed his/her maximum potential, focusing on the child as a whole, emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, and creatively.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Qualifications: 

  • CDA Preferred

  • 12 units in early Childhood Education or Child Development with six months teaching experience.

  • Ability to follow directions

Pre-K Teacher/Assistant

Provide circumstances that support the development of each individual child. Ensure each child is nurtured and developed to his/her maximum potential, focusing on the child as a whole, emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, and creatively within the realms of the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten program.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, or 4 year degree in Early Childhood Development or 4 year degree in qualifying fields based on requirements by Bright from the Start; Assistant teacher:  CDA or TCC Diploma in Early Childhood Education based on Bright from the Start Requirements

  • Good communication skills

  • Satisfactory criminal records check

Pre-K Project Director

Provide circumstances that support the development of each individual child. Ensure each child is nurtured and developed to his/her maximum potential, focusing on the child as a whole, emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, and creatively within the realms of the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten program.

Qualifications:

  • CDA, 2-year technical degree in Early Childhood Development or 4 year degree in Early Childhood Development or 3-years Georgia Pre-Kindergarten Experience

  • Highly Professional

Cook/Nutritionist

Prepare nutritious meals for the students following the guidelines of the Food and Children Adult program that includes but is not limited to properly completing daily weekly and monthly paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • One year of food service experience

  • Satisfactory criminal records check

Bus Driver/Bus Monitor

Provide timely and safe transportation of students who rule the center's buses.

Qualifications:

  • Driver must have a CDL License with Passenger endorsement

  • Must be able to complete required route sheet and transportation plans completely and correctly

  • Six months experience driving bus

  • Satisfactory criminal records check
